Healthy living: Limbo
Recently I decided that I should try to live healthier so that I can get rid of some unwanted lockdown-fat. However, these last two weeks have proved difficult because I had flu and I was hormonal.
It was bad
When I’m sick, I don’t want to do anything. I just want to lie in bed and feel sorry for myself. When I’m hormonal, I just want to eat everything and feel sorry for myself. The combination of these two is terrible.
I had no problem eating breakfast, or a healthy breakfast at that—it was the rest of the day’s meals that were the problem. I overindulged big time.
Also, I didn’t drink enough water; I was a dehydrated glutton.
This week
This week I’m just resetting. I’m focusing on drinking my 2 litres of water a day and eating healthy breakfasts. I’ll do another health challenge next week.
This week I’m healthy enough to exercise again, so there’s that—silver lining.
