Probably something along the lines of “Yoh, shit’s about to get fucked up.” Geez, and I had such high hopes for this year. So, if I could go back to 31 December 2019, and have the opportunity to mentally prepare myself for the fuckery that is 2020, here are a few things I would say. Hence, here is the list of things I would tell 2019 me. (I apologise in advance for all the cussing.)
Most of the world has been in lockdown for the past couple of months, but through all the craziness one thing endures – love. I think in the near future there will be books and movies set in the pandemic, something called “Love in the time of COVID-19”. In all seriousness, it’s quite scary to hear how many people have come out of lockdown or quarantine and split up.
It has been said that Britain and America are two nations that are divided by the same language, and I think that is also true of their humour. Their types of humour are quite different, but I can’t say how exactly. Thus, I decided to some research and write a post about the difference between British and American humour.
