Mannatech product review
I’ve been using Mannatech products for over a year now and I really like them. I haven’t tried all of them, but not for a lack of trying. I’m going to do a Mannatech product review on the products that I have been using the longest.

A quick history on Mannatech
Mannatech is an international multilevel marketing company and was established in 1994. It primarily sells health and nutritional supplements but has also ventured out into skincare and weight management products.
Their flagship product was Ambrotose, which is made from aloe vera plants. Ambrotose contains glyconutrients, which are plant-based sugars that aid cell-to-cell communication within the body. They use Ambrotose with its glyconutrients in most of the Mannatech products.

The products
EMPACT
Mannatech doesn’t call this a pre-workout, but that is what I use it as.
I have been using this product the longest, and honestly, it was the best choice ever. As a karateka who’s going for her second dan at the end of the year, I’m so happy I found this.
As I said, I use EMPACT as a pre-workout, but it doesn’t contain caffeine or sugar. You might wonder, ‘well, what’s in it then?’ It has an endurance complex of fructose, electrolytes, potassium, magnesium, Ambrotose, and a few other minerals.
I have tried a few other pre-workouts in the past, and although they gave me a burst of energy, I would usually get indigestion or a weird itching sensation around my neck.
With EMPACT, I don’t have any of those negative side effects. Initially, it felt like it wasn’t really doing anything, because I didn’t get that caffeine and sugar high. I just didn’t get tired that easily.
I’ve found that in the fitness classes, where we do three rounds of a circuit, the first round will be okay. But in the second round, I start to build momentum, right when everyone else is getting tired.
Also, when I do get tired and out of breath, my recovery time is so much quicker. I can be out of breath, and with 30 seconds of resting, I’m ready to go again.
EMPACT replaces all those salts and minerals that you lose during a hard workout, which I love.

Ambrotose Complex
Ambrotose Complex has been a great supplement for my overall health. As stated before, it supports cell-to-cell communication in the body.
I’ve been using it for about 6 months, and I’ve noticed a few differences. For example, my nails that used to be a bit brittle (especially those on my thumbs) but now they are so much stronger.
Also, I don’t get sick as often. I will admit that staying at home may also have something to do with that, but I have a pretty weak immune system, so Ambrotose is still a win for me. If I feel an itch in my throat, I take two Ambrotose Complex pills and the next day I’m fine. Again, that’s just me.
The most noticeable difference I noticed was in my hormones; you know, with that time of the month. Usually, my period was quite light, which made me think that something was wrong with me. I planned on going to the doctor and have tests run to see if something was wrong with me.
After using the pills for only two weeks, I got my period, and it was normal (like it was when I was a teenager).
PLUS
PLUS is a combination of Ambrotose and other nutrients to support the endocrine system.
I only used PLUS for three months (long story, but at that stage I couldn’t afford to take it and EMPACT). I loved PLUS.
My mood and my hormones go hand in hand, so if my hormones are all over the place, it’s an emotional rollercoaster.
Honestly, when I was using it, I was so calm and chilled out. Also, I didn’t get any period cramps, which was great.
I’m going to order PLUS again, because when my classes start (I’m working while studying) I’m going to be stressed out, and I’ll need PLUS to help me deal.
Great for sport
I think Mannatech products are especially great for people like me who do sport. Like I mentioned, using EMPACT has helped me to get the best out of my workouts.
