It’s Halloween 2020, but let’s be honest, this entire year felt like a bit of a nightmare (more so for some than for others). I will admit that this is a repost of last year’s Halloween post, but seeing as we can’t really do much to celebrate Halloween, I thought I’d reminisce on good memories of Halloween.
I was nominated by Renata from Buffalo Sauce Everywhere (check it out, it’s really cool) to take part in the Hallotober Tag. Since I live in South Africa, we don’t really celebrate Halloween – even though I wish we did! There are a ton of dress-up parties though, and I love me a good dress-up party.
It’s the scary season, so I have to write something Halloween related, right? For most people, Halloween means horror movies, but I can’t watch them. First of all, this entire year has been a horror movie, so we really need no more of that. Secondly, I don’t understand the appeal of the genre. Why would I want to be scared? Besides talking about why I hate horror movies, I also researched why some people love it.
